Word for the Day

Good morning with a word for the day-
1 Corinthians 1:20 says "Where is the wise? Where is the Scribe? Where is the disputer of this age?"
Many wise men have lived and spent their whole life studying and giving us all sources of things such as calculations and great mathematical solutions to man's universe of which he lives. Others have lived to achieve a single goal. Others to advance mankind. And yes, even others to solve human suffering. Yet the Bible asks a simple question: where are those people now?
Many times in life, even what they lived for and thought was true, was later proved to be wrong. The Bible says that God made foolish, the wisdom of this world. There is only one quest that man needs to seek and know. That quest is God Himself. All other wisdom can bring gain and fortunes, but all will fade away. The Bible says that 'Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than man' (verse 24-25).
To be, to live, to know, to have, to gain and to lose all that which was gained without the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ is to be foolish in the eyes of God. The Bible says that 'God has chosen the foolish things of this world to put to shame the wise' (verse 27). The cross of Christ is and was foolishness to those who rejected it. It is still foolish today to many, but to those of us who have been saved by that cross, it alone has become our wisdom.
For the message is still the same: reject the cross and perish or receive the wisdom of God, the cross of Christ, and be saved. For it is the message of God to sinful man, and it is the power of a foolish man unto salvation.
