Good morning with a word for the day-
Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path."
In life we will face many different challenges. And every one of those challenges have their own set of problems. And those problems have their own set of decisions. I have noticed in life that it's not the challenges, problems, or decisions that I face, it's the way that I approach those things that matters. In life I must set principles. I can not wait to decide what to do until something gets here because things will come.
Setting Godly principles does five things for me.
1)They allow me to know what is acceptable to God before I have to make a decision.
2)Godly principles are a guide that keeps me on a Godly path.
3)Godly principles guard my heart from the effects of ungodly decisions.
4)Godly principles are a gauge that helps me make Godly decisions when a decision has to be made.
5)Godly principles allow me to live a Godly life in an ungodly world.
Challenges will come. Decisions will be made. But when they are met with Godly principles they will always be well pleasing to the Lord.
