Good morning with a word for the day-
Jeremiah 51:50 says, "You who have escaped the sword, go, do not stand still."
According to scripture, doing nothing with what we have been given is a sin. Many times throughout scripture, the word of God warns about being a 'do nothing' people. Yes, the Bible does say, 'stand still and know that I am God.', but it doesn't say keep standing still. The greatest danger to your Christian life is to stand still.
Jesus said, "come", Jesus said "follow me", Jesus said, "go". All of these are action words. Paul said, "work out your own salvation." To be saved is an ongoing action, to continue to be saved is an ongoing action, and to be fruitful is an ongoing action.
God never gifted you to hide away what He gave you. In fact, Jesus condemned the servant who hid what he had been given. Churches struggle today because so many have hidden what God has so freely given. If you can remember where you hid it, go, dig it up, and start using the gift God has given you.
If you will start using what God has given you, you will find love for it!!
