Good morning with a word for the day-
Romans 12:2 says, ‘Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.’
This is an endless statement; meaning, you can read your Bible every day and still not be transformed. It takes more than just reading your Bible, which is very important, but the transformation cannot happen unless the reading is in conjunction with other Biblical principles.
One would be meditation. Philippians 4:8 says, ‘Finally, breathen, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things.’
Our mind will dwell on what we allow it to dwell on. If on the good, then it will be good things, if on the bad, then it will be the bad things.
The Bible describes many other things we should do to be transformed. It's an everyday battle. But one who goes through the process of transformation never regrets it.
Keep in mind that God never asks us to do it alone, He will be with us every step of the way, and He does not ask us to do something impossible. All things are possible with God.
Tell God you’re ready to be transformed, and ask Him for His help. The Bible says anyone who asks the Father in My (Jesus’) name will receive.
John 16:23-24
