Good morning with a word for the day-
Leadership is never to be taken for granted.
Great leaders have always depended upon many things such as their education, wisdom of good council, and the knowledge that life teaches. Paul said there’s something that separates leaders from great leaders in 2 Corinthians 4:7, ‘But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.’ Paul's strength to lead came from God.
There are many roads to travel, many paths to take, all with their challenges and decisions. But to know what is well-pleasing to God only comes from within. The power to please God lives within every believer. Paul goes on to say that life will bring hardship, even to the point of being perplexed. But our answers to life will always be found from within the heart of those who love God. The darkness of life can never overcome a true believer when they live from within. In verse 6 Paul says, ‘For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.’
Great leaders shine their best at the darkest time. And they will always shine from within, giving glory to God.
