Good morning with a word for the day-
In our Jonah series this week we learned the first ‘R’ meant rebellion. Jonah was in full rebellion. Not only Jonah but those in the ship who were in rebellion serving other gods, along with all the people and the king of Nineveh, and all repented. First, those in the ship, then Jonah from the belly of the great fish, and then the city and the king of Nineveh.
The third ‘R’ we can see in the story of Jonah is Revival.

After repentance, those in the ship went into worship and revival. In the belly of the great fish, Jonah repented and revival broke out in his heart to be obedient to God. After Jonah repented and was revived, he walked the streets of Nineveh and preached God’s Word. Revival broke out and one-hundred and twenty thousand worshiped God.
There will never be revival until true repentance is sought and found by broken people.
