Word of the Day

Good morning with a word for the day-
1 Peter 4:8 says, ‘Love will cover a multitude of sins.’
If there should ever be an ‘amen,’ it should be declared on this verse. Where is the love of God found? It is found in the grace of God. We were all condemned to die, but by the love of God, He sent His Son. Grace was applied to the cross of God and by it, we can all live. We did not deserve it, but remember, He did not deserve what He received either. It was a total exchange. He did not deserve death, which was exchanged for what we did not deserve, eternal life. We call it grace, God calls it love. God loves beyond what we deserve. I know, it's hard to understand, but God never asks us to understand, He only asks us to accept it.
Too many times in my life I think I try to make grace something more than what it is. It's just simple grace because it's just simple love. ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.’ The keyword in John 3:16 is the little word ‘so,’ which is followed by the second keyword ‘loved.’ He loved us so much that He just had to do it. Nothing could keep Him from doing it. He demonstrated His love for each one of us, by sending His Son to become something that He was not, that we might receive something that we did not deserve.
Never forget the power and the long-reaching love of the grace of God.
Also remember this: No matter where you are in your walk of life, the grace of God was there before you arrived.
1 Peter 5:10-11
